When to take Bio X4 for maximum benefits ||
Here’s the answer. It really doesn’t matter when you take Bio X4 so long as you are taking it consistently over the course of several weeks. This is true of all probiotics; the time of day that you take it should not effect end results. The only thing to keep in mind is that probiotics are best taken together with food, and when consumed at the same time each day.
So really, the best time to take Bio X4 is whatever time you are most likely to be eating at every single day. If you routinely miss lunch and dinner depends on chaotic working hours, then we recommend taking Bio X4 with breakfast. Similarly, if you regularly skip breakfast, take Bio X4 whenever you normally break your fast!
Another thing to think about is water consumption – according to Nucific, you should try to take Bio X4 with a full glass of water.
These considerations – whether or not you are taking the probiotic with food and water – are far more important than when you are taking your probiotic (that applies to Bio X4 and to any probiotic).
The reason timing isn’t important for probiotics is that they work by rebalancing your gut microbiome. This is a gradual process which should have lasting, long-term benefits; it is not something which you achieve overnight, nor is it something which disappears overnight either (unless your diet and lifestyle are highly damaging to gut bacteria).
As such, probiotics do not have any acute benefits. They only work when you take them consistently, on a regular basis, over many days, weeks, and months. The exact time of day is therefore unimportant – whether you take your probiotic at 9am or 3pm isn’t going to influence how it affects your gut microbiome over the long-term.
Are Bio X4 Probiotics Worth Taking?
Bio X4 is one of many probiotic supplements available.
Its manufacturer, Nucific, claims it will help with weight loss, metabolism, digestion and appetite.
However, there’s little scientific evidence available to suggest that the ingredients used in Bio X4 will have any of these effects.
Research on probiotics and weight loss is still in its early stages. As of now, there’s limited evidence to suggest that probiotic supplements may lead to a small amount of weight loss, but only by about one pound.
Some people claim to have experienced weight loss and other positive effects while using Bio X4. However, these may not be due to the supplement itself.
After all, Nucific and the supplement’s designer, Dr. Lee, advocate the use of Bio X4 alongside lifestyle and dietary changes to promote weight loss.
Ultimately, successful weight loss requires a negative energy balance, which means you’re consuming less energy than what your body is burning.
Any lifestyle or dietary change is more likely to cause this than a probiotic supplement.
Overall, using Bio X4 is an expensive way to go about weight loss at $99 a month, and there’s no guaranteed results.
You’ll likely see more effective weight loss (and more money in your wallet!) by making small and sustainable changes to your diet and lifestyle—not by purchasing another supplement.
Is Bio X4 effective for weight loss?
We do not think that Bio X4 should be sold as a weight loss supplement.
There it is.
Having done a thorough review of the ingredients, we really don’t think Nucific’s claims about Bio X4 promoting weight loss are justifiable in any way.
There isn’t anything in this probiotic which makes it particularly good for reducing body fat, controlling appetite, or preventing fat gain.
Now, it’s true that all probiotics can be said to help with weight management. Having a better functioning, more efficient metabolism makes dieting much easier. In several meta-analyses a healthier gut microbiome has been linked with better blood sugar control, reduced body fat, and lower incidence of metabolic illness.
But Nucific claim that Bio X4 is especially good for weight loss.
That is, they claim Bio X4 is better than other probiotics at promoting fat loss.
In our opinion, that simply isn’t true.
In reality, Bio X4 is a very mediocre probiotic; it doesn’t provide any enzymes or cultures which you don’t get from lots of other – often cheaper – gut health supplements. The only ingredients which could be said to be good for weight loss are hardly revolutionary. We get a very small serving of green tea, and a completely unproven herbal extract which has no known effect on body fat.
So does Bio X4 help with weight loss?
No more so than any other run-of-the-mill probiotic, and certainly not more than other supplements designed to promote fat loss.
